March 8-12, the weekend after we had the gigantic blizzard in Minnesota, Sarah and I went to Miami. Sarah was on tour with the National Lutheran Choir, and we paid a little extra so Braden and I could come along.
We stayed at Holiday Resort on South Beach. This is a view of the Hotel from the boardwalk, which ran along the beach. Looks nice, but that was about the best face the hotel had to show. Holiday Inn had recently purchased the hotel from Best Western, who had let the hotel become very run down (mold on the walls, graffiti, and more). The outdoor pool, lobby, and 9th & 10th floors had been remodeled.

Since he's an October baby, Braden's skin hasn't had much sun exposure. The hat helped keep him safe from the intense Miami rays.
