New Interests

Joshua brought home a used, but in very good shape, sand and water table from a garage sale last year. Since Braden was too little to enjoy it, it sat unused in our attic for over a year. Well - no longer! We got it down yesterday, and our boy played outside for 2 hours with his new sand table. We thought ahead when we got rid of our sand volleyball court, and reserved a little sand. Good as new! Instant fun for a little guy who's favorite activity is digging! Although he's now confiscated mommy's real digging tool, and I'm left with a plastic green shovel for all my gardening needs. He's also enjoying his blocks, a good find at a garage sale a few weeks ago. I had been wanting to get him some big legos, and there they were - two huge bags for 3 bucks. He loves putting them together and taking them apart again. No real building yet, but I know that will come. When Uncle Ryan comes over, we'll have to be sure to get them out! I know he'll be able to show him some great building skills.
