Our little guy has been trying to feed himself. Most of the time, mommy has to step in for a few bites so he gets a little in his mouth.
But he sure does love to try!
One more thing...I don't know how we did this, but he won't even START to eat until he has his bib on. I'm not complaining! He used to pull it off immediately when he got into his chair. Oh well - probably just a toddler phase. We're beginning to see a lot of those!

When Anya was wanting to feed herself all the time, I gave her lots of oatmeal and lots of hummus (not together!). They're both thick and sticky and stay on the spoon pretty well.
