Reading is Cool!

The love of books has begun!

This is his absolute favorite (this week). It has real pictures of all sorts of different things. He points to all the things and says them pretty well. If he doesn't know, he points and looks at me waiting for me to say it. He'll study my lips, then say it like five times with a big smile.

Every time we get to this page, he points immediately at this picture and says "bamuhl." I have no idea why this one particular animal enthralls him so much, but it sure does.

p.s. Mommy's reading "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett right now. I can't put it down! I'm actually excited to go to a doctor's appointment this morning in hopes that I can read it for a few minutes in the waiting room undistrubed.
