Braden has been at his new day care now for about 3 full weeks. It was time for their annual parent-teacher conferences, so we signed up just to see how our little man was doing. We've been having conversations with his teacher all along, but we wanted to take the time to see if she had anything else interesting to say. Here were some learnings for mommy and daddy today!
- Mommy needs to send more food! I guess Braden always eats what I send him, and is still hungry.
- Braden loves to climb in the castle they have, even going up the ladder all by himself.
- When the teacher is picking up blocks, Braden will sit down and help her put everything back into the container. (Isn't that too cute?) I didn't even realize we were teaching him that.
- Separation Anxiety rears its head again at 15 months (I had completely forgotten this)
- Braden is way ahead of even older kids in his verbal skills
- Braden actually cries when its time to put away the music instruments after music class is over - he wants to keep playing tunes!
- Braden loves the gym, and is starting to run!
Overall, we are starting to really like his new place. It's a rough transition between infants and toddlers no matter what, and it will be until he really goes down to one nap a day. But we're thankful we found a more affordable, loving, happy place very close to home.
