Well, Braden was exposed to Chicken Pox at day care yesterday. He was supposed to have had the vaccine along with the MMR shot at his one year check a few weeks ago, but he had such a very bad cold that I was not about to introduce live vaccine into his system when he was already fighting something off.
SO....I was to make a follow-up appointment sometime this week. We may not need it! Now I have to research incubation times and when we might start to see spots. I think it can take up to two weeks!
He's starting to eat a few more finger foods. All in good time as Grandma Zaiser says. She keeps reminding me that he's just 12 months this month! At his checkup all was well. He's growing well - still at his 10% for height and leveled off right at 50% for weight. He's doing 18 month "tricks" on his developmental chart-must have been all that fish oil I swallowed when he was on the inside!
