We got rain, almost non-stop, from Saturday morning throughout today. Here are a few things about our weekend because of the weather.
The good: painting a new cabinet in our kitchen (the outer side with chalkboard paint for B), playing games with family, J finished Harry Potter, going out to lunch, shopping for warmer jammies at Once Upon a Child, B practicing all his new tricks (see previous post)
The bad: deck still needs the rail, canceled plans to go walking at one of our great parks in the area, Braden didn't get outside much and went a little crazy with all the time inside, terrible flooding in southern MN even causing deaths
The not ugly anymore: Our lawn and plants are now back in full bloom and growth!

I hear ya..... it's been raining here for almost 3 days straight too. My shiny silver lining for me? It's nice and cool outside!
