I know, he doesn't look very sick in these pictures, which is why we almost didn't realize he was running a 102 degree temp. The little guy gave it away when he threw up, which is highly unusual for him. He wasn't eating as well as normal either, and seemed a little out of sorts. But he was never actually fussy, and he never cried. I guess that's a blessing, but it doesn't exactly sound the alarm that we should start checking for sick baby signs.

What's the resolution to this story?
Well, tonight his fever seems to be staying down, and so is his food. Looks like he's on the upswing. He's showing some signs of teathing, but it's a bit early. We'll see what happens.
Actually, I don't think it is too early for teething -- many babies start around 4 months. The bitch about teething is that you never know when it's the teeth and when it's something else! Even now, we never know for sure when it's teeth bothering Anya.
We're pretty convinced that it was an early bout with teething (notice that's teething, not teathing as I previously wrote). His symptoms were too obvious to disregard. Now we just have to figure out the lump on his leg and bruise behind his eye. Doctor's appt. on Wednesday.
