No, not the above baby shower, which is an actual patent I found on a web site all about absurd things that were submitted for patent. I'm talking about our baby shower. We had sort of an informal family BBQ lunch at my Grandma Alys' place on Sunday. It was very nice. My uncle Allen grilled some really tasty chicken and we all enjoyed each other's company. Not a "girls only event," this mini get-together was done in traditional Wisconsin style with the ladies chatting around the table and the guys talking about the Packers over a beer in the garage before lunch and falling asleep in chairs after lunch. Sarah got a few baby gifts. Always practical, my Grandma gave us two packs of newborn diapers, which might get us to 10 pounds if we're lucky.
