We had our first childbirth class last night. Fairview requests expecting parents parents go for six weeks, one night per week, 2.5 hours per night. Since I'm such an geek about education, I was looking forward to the classes, but I didn't expect to really enjoy them. I was pleasantly surprised. Truth be told, I've been kind of nervous about "the big day." The firts class helped to ease my mind a little bit. It may be a guy thing, but it kind of helps to be able to know what I'm supposed to actually DO to help out when it comes time to deliver.
