Baby's room

The project of preparing the baby's room has taken shape.

Above is a before shot. This room was a sort of "pass through" room off of the kitchen. One door comes in from the kitchen, and another goes out into the hallway. The dresser in the picture was the Koepp boys'. We took out the two big drawers and installed shelves to make it a changing table.

The walls were white with a hint of mint green. The light fixture was orginal 1950's dining room equipment.

We painted a sort of light mocha color. Looks kind of like strong coffee with some cream in it.

Sarah and her friend (and maid of honor) Jen Lokker put up a neat border.

A close up of the border. It says Imagine, Dream, Celebrate, Believe.

This is Sarah's childhood dresser, which will be the baby's dresser.

Here's the completed changing table.

And one last view of the room. Eventually, there will be a navy blue or rose colored rug and art on the walls. It was a fun project.

I am so excited to see the transformation of this room as you prepare for the new babe. The room really looks great! I never would have done a mocha color myself, but I really like how you've done it.

Good to know you haven't fallen off the face of the blogging earth too:)
