My sister Becky was due with twins on January 28, but they arrived on November 28 instead. She developed severe Toxemia progressing into HELLP Syndrome. So they decided it was time for them to be born. Twin A wasn't progressing because of Becky's problems, and blood flow to the babies was getting compromised. Besides that - Becky's liver was starting to show signs of failure. Out they came! Becky is recovered, and babies are doing pretty well! I was so happy with how good they looked. Lydia is still on the vent in this picture, but has since been weaned to a CPAP (step-down from a vent). And Greta's already just on oxygen! It is anticipated they will stay in the hospital for sure until they would have been 36 week gestation, so that will be somewhere around New Year's. Grow fast, little ones!
